He became a member of Cooperative Huy Tuong II in 2012. Selling his surplus produce directly to the cooperative means he able to bypass the merchandiser and receive a fairer, more stable price. The cooperatives have established reliable transportation links between Huy Tuong and Hanoi; after buying and processing, the produce it is sent on a local bus.
