CAPTION: Huy Tuong Commune is one of the poorest in the district. With limited access to land and outdated agricultural technologies, small-scale farmers struggle to produce enough food for the year. At the start of the project in 2011, almost 50% of households were considered ‘poor’. With support from We Effect, HESDI have provided training on environmental agriculture and improved livestock breeding techniques, helping small-scale farmers to boost productivity and generate higher incomes.
